Everything you need to budget, nothing you don't
LiteWork Finance is deliberately lightweight. No 47-tab dashboard. No bank-linking consent forms. Just the core tools that actually help you stay on budget - designed for how people in their 20s actually use money.
Per-category spending limits
Set a monthly limit for Dining, Subscriptions, Transport - any category you want to control. Visual progress bars show exactly where you stand, in real time.
AI Import - skip the manual entry
Upload your bank statement (CSV, PDF, or screenshot) and AI categorises every transaction automatically. Your budget tracks itself.
Budget Profiles
Save multiple named budget setups and switch between them. Normal month, travel month, no-spend month - swap in one tap.
Custom categories
The defaults cover most spending. But if you need "Side Hustle Expenses" or "Wedding Fund", create it and it appears everywhere defaults do.
Year-at-a-glance table
Every month side by side. See your income, expenses, and surplus across the full year in a single view - useful for spotting patterns you'd otherwise miss.
CSV export
Export all your transactions at any time. Your data is yours to keep - no lock-in, no premium required to access what you put in.
Tracks how you actually spend
Default categories cover the most common spending patterns. Every category has its own budget limit, chart slice, and search filter. Add custom ones for anything that doesn't fit.
Why Gen Z switches to LiteWork Finance
Most popular budgeting apps were designed for homeowners with salaries, investment accounts, and a mortgage. That's not most people in their 20s.
